How to update to new Nokia Pure font for Symbian phones the easy way

###UPDATE just noticed the ovi store stopped working for some people after doing this update. Do this at your own risk###

Here's a quick and easy way to get the new Nokia Pure font on your Symbian device. Simply download and unzip the corresponding file for your phone, Symbian^3 or S60V3/5. Extract the files, then drag and drop it to your mass memory. It took me just a few seconds to do this on my Nokia E7. Enjoy!

The Nokia Pure is based on the idea of seamless, fluid motion. The generous, rounded characters seem almost to flow into each other, as if there's no beginning and no end. Their movement is gentle and pleasing, like ripples on a pond.

Before copying the fonts 'resource' folder to the mass storage, copy the original 'resource' folder from the mass memory to somewhere on your desktop. This is a "backup" of the original 'resource' folder. Then you can copy the fonts 'resource' folder to the mass memory, and replace the orginal folder when prompted. That way, if for some reason your apps do mess up, you can restore back the original 'resource' folder. It worked for me! :)

Update: Unfortunately after only a day I've reverted back to the original font - reading emails and web pages was crap as the text/font was very patchy and broken, like bits of each letter missing. Shame as it worked great on the phone, menus etc..

Does anyone know how to get deeper into the O/S and root folders?

Just installed this Pure font on my new E7 and for me it's a big improvement, especially for my older eyes - I can now read everything easier and with more clarity. And the best thing is I no longer have to look at that shitty 1 digit with the horizontal at the bottom which I've always HATED. No problems with Ovi Store either. When I want to copy them a window pops up saying "The file Fonts could not be copied. There is not enough free memory on the device", but I have a lot of free memory :( ...
