Zach Wahls Talks About His Inspiring Speech

I was born with two moms, in vitro fertilization just like Zach. Except my moms were both poor, so everything was done with a make shift insemination kit. I was raised with a lot of love and compassion and I in turn have taken the path of social justice. I'm 21 and in college like Zach. It's surreal to watch his speech and hear words that do such justice to the thoughts that lay prisoner to my conscious. I'm working on writing my own book. I have been given inspiration.

Being a citizen of Iowa, and being gay myself, I can't help but tear up a little at how strongly he's defending gay rights. My girlfriend and I have talked about getting married in the future, but we're worried of where we can do it. So thank Whoever for Zach, because it's people like him that are going to help make this country equal for everyone. Gay, strait, pansexual, lesbian, whatever you identify yourself as. We're all people, and deserve to have the same opportunities as everyone else.

perhaps it's just me, but it seems that kids that are raised by gay couples are more well-rounded, open-minded and just plain kind and peaceful human beings. period. and i have numerous very close friends who are raising children in a two mom environment.
