@Tibialmario Haha yeah I'm not to sure about that. What I was saying was, say the turtle got stuck in there and fell asleep for some reason. Turtle wakes up and air bubble pops. Its stuck and your not around. I tthink it would drown? Also the pipe takes up a lot of swimming room. But yeah, anyone wanna clarify what would happen?

@RICHxWHITExKIDxy38 hmm i see what you mean. im also not arguing :) thats true about the air bubble, but i thought that air comes from him rather than oxygen from the water. i really would be suprised to hear that an animal without gills could take in oxygen from water. any expert here wanna clear this up for us?

@Tibialmario How do you think they sleep under water? Ever watch your turtle sleep? they keep an oxegyn bubble on theyre nose :]
But im not trying to argue. Just wanna learn something new.

that white ring on your turtles shell is an infection (as is all the strings of bacteria growing off his face) this is still not big enough. they need 10 gallons of water per inch of turtle. so im guessing at 4 inches each you need 120 gallons. also - the shells pointed angle means you are feeding them incorrectly. do you feed them meat constantly? pls just google correct care.

@RICHxWHITExKIDxy38 you said water doesnt have infinite oxegen. kinda implying that res take oxegen out of water and that it would run out. it doesnt matter how much oxegen the water has. the res cant use it.
-
@Tibialmario Thats what i was saying?
-
@RICHxWHITExKIDxy38 res turtles dont have gills. they cant get any oxygen out of the water. only from surfacing
-
@TheCptnSQUASH Lol thanks i wasnt being mean. Its still a percaution though. The could get stuck. Water doesnt have infinite oxegyn lol
-
@RICHxWHITExKIDxy38 yes sleeping voluntary yes they do not have gills But they get air through their shell aka oxygen in water gets sucked into shell then put in the blood stream....they can drown by voluntarily breathing in the water the pvc pipe should be removed for more swimming room and it really has no point being there.......thumbs up on your comment though
-
@TheCptnSQUASH If they see something in the pipe and they go in then their shell could get stuck and the could drown. Turtles dont have gills. They can drown. Sleeping is voluntary. Getting stuck isnt. Face the facts.
pipe=not a good idea they could get stuck and drown
