Unique In Depth Interview with Emilie Autumn! Please watch in HD! Thanks to Dolores, Emilie's Tour manager, and of course the one and only EA herself, we were able to have a half hour of Emilie's time, and do an in depth interview, by muffins, for the muffins. We sat down with Emilie before her show in Antwerp, last Friday (24 April). And what Emilie told us was an answer to all the burning muffin questions, and being more open then we have ever seen her. She answered our burning questions, like what's keeping the Book, the story behind Shalott, the use of Shakespeare, The Victorian and Elizabethan age, and many, many more!

Please note that this is a re-upload as the interview required some cuts for legal reasons. This is the final and definitive version.

  • I'm really touched by what she said about suicide and mental disorders and the reactions to it. I get what she's saying about people being cruel. I myself have never tried any kind of self harm or suicide, but i know how some people react to it. Especially teenager and high school students. We've become almost apathetic in the way we treat people. Its wrong and i hope this apathy doesn't progress as the years go on. Emilie Autumn is amazing, i want to by her book.

  • Haha history geek... And why are the BOTH wearing corsets? Emilie is the only one who can pull off the corset... That other girl looks squished

  • @zadrakurei96 ikr...just look at her boobs at 0:10

  • I can't even watch this because the girl in black's outfit is so disgusting. Honestly if u can't wear it without looking like a overstuffed animal wearing a corset... DON'T FREAKIN WEAR IT.

  • I think Emilie Autumn should go to New Zealand, New Zealand's method of "treating" people with mental "illnesses" isn't to lock them up- they have communities and housing where they can live but are checked up on by doctors. :D

Where I live, in The Netherlands, they also lock people up and throw away the key. It's not right. I was nearly put in that situation, I have a chronic illness and people keep telling me I'm crazy and it's a mental problem. Which it's not.

  • @TheWeaselLady13 I self harm and it made me cry when she spoke of it. She is helping me through my depression!

  • I love this woman. She has helped me so much with my depression, and helped me find myself when I was lost and suicidal. Even if i grow out of her music some day I'll remain a plague rat forever <3

I must have commented on this video like 3 times already lol :P

  • The music is really distracting from what Emilie has to say.

  • @booyabojangles

She's so smart I love her.

  • Dumb as rocks.

  • You can tell how honest she is being by the way she can go on comfortably with her tangents and the details in her stories.. It reminds me of myself when I'm being true to how I feel and speaking out about it. That's awesome that she poured her feelings out into an interview. I have total respect for Emilie Autumn.
