@holliemai100 i say crow bar as the handel scews shoul be on the inside too just like the tape on external beeded windows

@Waltdis031 but if the handel get removed from the out side first with a crow bar you then have plenty room to crack the barrel open with a hammer, i hang doors tilt n turn, tilt and slide patio and install all the locks so dont try correct me

i knw what you did when the vid went blank, you knocke the little lever up what the black bit on the barrel knocks up, this was not a guess either

@Waltdis031 your right in a sense mate..but these days theives break the handle around the lock and get access to more then 4mm and break it from there

new doors may not have the barrel sticking out that much, but as a locksmith, 80% of the upvc cylinders I change are like this when I get there, sometimes sticking out as much as 40mm. Some people change the cylinders themselves and don't realise the importance of have the correct size and offset

The design isn't bad, the installation was. If you installed your new lock badly, then it was a wasted effort.

I am a locksmith & although it is a good thing to advise your customers about this, it is not really a good thing to show to the world on YouTube. Anyone who should know this already does. Cutting out 4 seconds of the video does not help because it does not take much intelligence to work out what you need to do once you have snapped the cylinder.

im a window fitter and this video is total shit, the over hang of the barrel is never outside so you could not use that tool , also that guy sounds pretty gay
