Ballet: Attitude, turns into arabesque, soutenu, chaines turns on pointe etc

Robbie (12) : More practice, practice, practice. Should be interesting to revisit the attitude at age 13- well ALL of it actually. I'm very proud of Robbie for trying so hard and being so dedicated. Ballet is much harder than it looks!

you seem very dedicated which is fantastic! Just make sure that when you are preparing for a pirouette, only place the back foot once. You seem to be placing it behind you and then moving it slightly closer to your supporting leg before you take off. Just a little hint that will make your turns cleaner! :)

@bananarific22 Thanks- that is how my teacher teaches it. Prob at some point it comes out. He is vaganova based so maybe it is something to do with that? When I do privates with my balanchine based teacher she noticed this also but left it alone for now . :)

Yourr so lucky , I wish ,my mom had the money to pay privet ballet classes .My mom promise me every month that I can take ballet classes ,but she just dont have the money ! so I'm learing myself . :( I'm not happy at this moment .

@DeasyDark some places as low as 45 a month but I know what you mean - it basically rules our world around here- it's not cheap.

does your mom always video tape your classes , or do you always know what the next class is?also ive been following your vids for quite a time and yoo r AWESOME!!!! also much more flexible than me.... i cant do a ponche AT ALL.
