If anyone has Jeffrey Archer's Prison Diary (the first one) theres a really disturbing story from one of the inmates. He was abused by the whole systes from Judges, care services, social services and probation services. He basically says the whole system is riddled with child molesters.

@aquariussouldier - sorry, CPS is the acronym for Child Protective Services. This is mainly used in North America, so thank you for pointing out that it may not be such a good acronym to employ re: the UK and Europe. There are many acronyms that are used for CPS all over the world, however. In BC, Canada where I am, it is called - and this is very Orwellian - "The Ministry of Child and Family Development," or MCFD. They too are sick, evil, twisted, perverted monsters.

Are you talking about CP (common purpose) or CPS (crown prosecution service)? They are two seperate things, although through CP and statutory law they are both connected!!
