I got to write/cut the film the Waterman --the indo boat trip that rob mentions in reference to gerry lopez. after pouring through 100s of hours of footage i came to respect and admire these men not just as surfers...but humanitarians. they are so well liked because they represent not just the art of surfing but the art of humanity.
