I actually like that the fact that more artists are branching out. However, I don't feel that the trinity songs are being neglected; merely that rare and excellent kritis of other composers are also being popularized.
Also, this concert was in Chennai, so especially at the end of a concert, Tamil songs would be pleasing to the listeners.

I wonder why the new artists do not sing trinity songs, Sri Muttuswamy dikshit has so many songs on these Kshetras.
