Nick picked up the razor, noticing that the blades were covered with dry blood. Nick looked carefully at it, before finally chucking it in the bin. As he was about to walk out, Nick acknowledged that the medicine cabinet was slightly ajar. He walked over and opened it a bit more. Nick spotted the first aid kit had moved. Nick sighed for the billionth time that day, and decided to go downstairs. He was careful not to wake Noah up as he passed her room. He slilently went down the stairs, and into the living room, where Miley was drinking a cup of coffee while watching the news. She turned to face him and she slightly smiled.
"Hi" she whispered and turned her attention back to the tv. Nick stood still at the bottom, silently watching the young women. He was secretly inspecting her. To see if his theory that Miley and the razor were connected. He studied her every move, to see if she gave any signs away. It wasnt until, she pulled her sleeve down a bit more, so the bandage wouldn't be seen. Nick's eyes widen when he saw, a bit of the bandage. He wanted to act cool though, so he sat down next to Miley, and pretended that he didn't see anything. Miley turned to face him, and rested her head on his shoulder.
"You okay?" Nick asked, knowing full well that she was going to lie in her answer.
"Yeah im fine" She said and smiled. 'Figured' Nick thought.
"You sure?" Nick asked
"Yep" Miley said in her 'happy voice'. But even Nick could see the pain in her eyes.
"Well, you nearly just collapsed, and now your telling me that it was nothing"
"Well it was nothing" Miley argued back, willing to get her point across.
"Oh really?". Miley paused.
"Really" she finally said.
"So why did i find a razor covered in blood on the floor in the bathroom?" Nick asked but looked down quickly. Miley's breathe got caught up in her throat, and she could hardly think.
"I....Um.....I" she started but couldn't think of anything to say. Nick held her hands and lifted her chin up to look at him.
"Please tell me whats going on Miley?" Nick whispered and brought her into a hug. Nick could feel the tears rolling down Miley's cheek and hitting his t-shirt. Miley pulled away and wiped her tears. She took a deep breathe and closed her eyes, while revealing her bandaged arm. Nick gently took a hold of it while Miley opened her eyes up. Nick looked up at her, and gently started to remove the bandages. He looked up to see Miley's reaction, but she just nodded which meant that he could keep unwrapping the bandage that was around her wrist. Miley winced when Nick finally took the bandage of. Nick looked at Miley, but she was just looking away. Like she was ashamed of what she had done. Nick gently kissed her new cuts, making sure not to put any pressure on them. He could tell that she was scared about what he would think.
"Im sorry" she whispered. "I know you told me not to do it, but i needed to"
"Im not mad" Nick whispered back.
"Your not?" Miley said. Nick gently shook his head, and stood up. Miley watched him grab his car eyes and head towards the door. "Where are you going?" Miley said.
"I need to talk to someone" Nick said and opened the door. A few seconds later, the door shut behind him, and the house fell into silence once more.

Nick stopped the car outside the main entrance. He looked at the building to make sure he had gone to the right place. He got out and walked into the reception area, and up to the front desk. The receptionist looked at him, and gently smiled.
"Can i help you" she asked.
"I need to see Billy Ray Cyrus" Nick said.
"Have you made an appointment?" the receptionist asked.
"No but"
"Then i can't let you in. Im sorry Sir" The receptionist said, and started typing on her computer.
"You don't underdstand... Its about his daughters." Nick argued.
"What about my daughters?" A booming voice said, that left Nick frozen on the spot. He turned around to face Billy Ray. Nick swallowed, suddenly afraid.
