Great historical piece, esp. on Heelers; fabulous it's digitized now. C.W. Loucks in credits is Carlton ("Carl") Loucks. He remained very interested in Yale radio, even in the mid-'80s when I was a Yale student working at WYBC, and provided advice/historical perspective when requested... Impressive that YBC covered 4 sports in the '50s - we didn't do that much in the '80s, but still used the same dedicated phone line concept to broadcast from the Yale Bowl (football) & Ingalls Rink (hockey).
