I can imagine this:
"I feel fresh coolness in my throat!"
"I think that's throat cancer...."
"throat what now?"
-
oh. my. god.
-
''Feel extra coolness in your throat!''
Didin't know that they had a different name for cancer back then.

Ok. I don't get it. Maybe I'm missing something here. She says let's go outside for some fresh air, then they inhale smoke into their lungs.
Scratching my head on that one.

@TheAnalogOne You know why, right? Its because its hard as shit to get a smoke out of soft pack lol

I guess if the marketing men were in the 1940s and had a similar branding idea they might have come up with the name 'Squares' instead of 'Kools'. - Dig it? -- But really seems the name was chosen cause menthol adds a sense of coolness... 'Its hot in here lets get some air'... Kools aren't 'hot'... and the menthol made it feel like an intake of (cough) cool 'air'. At the end they add in the water fountain to reinforce that cool Kool sense. Them Mad Men earned their money.

A smoke - just what I like when I go to get some fresh air. And yeah. that's an LP record spinning at 78.

Wish there were still a lot of non filtered cigarettes....

@LeBronForTheWin xD
In all these commercials it is the same thing: When he pulls up the cigarette package, some cigarettes are ALWAYS pulled up a little.
