One of the first things you learn in basic piano lessons is how to play with proper fingering. I don't follow the rules (because I can't stand proper fingering) and wouldn't be able to play much of anything without using my own, unique, natural fingering. Here I alternate between a boring, basic C scale with proper fingering and an improvised jazz riff, with my own, unique fingering, demonstrating my crazy right hand, my jazz hand (It all comes natural to me, I didn't learn how to do this with my right hand do this!). It's really fun to rip across the keys!!!
