@magnilsonmelo It depends on the age of the bird. They really need to be handraised from hatching to be truely handtame. I have an aviary/parent-raised cockatiel who is handtame because I trained him to be with lots of love and patience, but he is still afraid of hands. It is instinct for them. Instinct they have to FORCE themselves to disregard to step onto your finger.

Try approaching your lovebird with your hands behind your back. Faces are nowhere near as scary as hands.

Awwww I love them but its too much to maintain them .... I had bought a pair of love birds ..... they used to shit so much and it smelled like hell ....then my mom used to scold me for not cleaning it ....LOL
