ASPCA Rescue Efforts in 2009

This year, the ASPCA participated in raids and animal cruelty investigations across the country. In one "sanctuary" alone, a hoarder kept more than 400 sick and suffering animals in deplorable conditions. Unfortunately, the ASPCA witnesses the terrible impact of animal cruelty every day--but in 2009, the organization was able to improve the lives of more than 63,000 animals. HSUS PENSION CONTRIBUTIONS TOTAL 99-09 TOTAL $16,315,520.00 DONATION TO HELP SHETERS--> $14,822,706.66 HSUS gave MORE $ to their CEO PENSION FUND 10 YRS RUNNING than they gave to help needy shelters out of their avg 100 MILLION $ a yr intake.. Think about it like this In 10 years HSUS took in excess ONE BILLION DOLLARS and gave Approx 14.8 MILLION to help other shelters around 1.4? PERCENT? Should see ASPCAS AND PETAS RECORDS

I bet if they had some money they might be able to do more..People need to donate in their own communities.There in lies the problem.Everyone wants to donate to these large scale groups who already take in around 100M bucks a yr yet letely forget that most of these animals are dying in their own community shelters.People who to rescue in many cases become overwhelmed because there is NO help. Hopefully ASPCA And HSUS start donating some of their countless millions to help community shelters
