This is available as 35mm film and Digibeta. Filmed with an Eclair Cameflex CM3 with Cooke 18mm Speed Panchro using Kodak 50D 5245. Light polluton and clouds enhance reality.

  • Oh man, I miss Hale Bopp so much! I was a 17 year old kid back then. Great memories about being outside with that awesome looking comet in the skies for weeks!

  • in '97 i was 12... i vividly recall being on a road trip during the comet's visibility. when my parents pointed it out to me somewhere on the road in mississippi i watched it for dozens of miles. It was and still is one of the most beautiful things i've ever witnessed.

  • I remember this! I was 6 years old and me and my dad watched it from the balcony of our house, it was seen on the south, traveling from east to west :) I think that it is the most beautiful memory I have from my childhood!!! and I think it was a bit bigger than it is seen on the video here..

  • Ivr never seen the comet in person but i was named after it because i was born the same day :)
