KDO and the Elyos defend the Fortress of Sorrow in Morheim, Asmodae from the Asmodians on the last night of CBT3. This was the Asmodian's third push up the hill.

Awesome vid, I finally can see what gameplay looks like. Though i have a question having not played the game yet. Is blocking an active ability and not a random chance, i notice you holding your shield up for 60% of the fight.

P.S. Are you still recruiting I should be picking up a beta soon and would like to join if possible. if not its cool if i can PM will suffice.

There is a "block" number like evasion or parry that triggers the actual "block" which reduces the damage you take from the blocked attack.

Raising your shield like I am increases that block rating by 500 and thus you actively block more incoming attacks and reduce their damage. It is a toggle with a 12 second cooldown and it also increases physical defense by 10% and stun by 500 while active. The second version you get later on raises block by 1000.
