  • Obama is out. I'm done with him. He went on television and said scrapping private insurance would be impractical when everyone knows that isn't the case.

  • He's a limp dick. Disappointing to all involved.

Canada's "ridiculously high taxes"? Canada's federal tax rates range from 15-29%, provincial tax rates vary, but in my case for example, Ontario tax rates are 5-11%. For the median income of Canadians which is a little under $40 000 a year, the average tax rate would be about 25%. Higher than the US sure, it's also higher for higher income people, but I wouldn't call this "ridiculously high".

  • he pretty much goes on and on about the things he's NOT gonna do and was UNABLE to do

  • @notdonebefore i'm not from canada, but even i know that your health care is not "free". you pay for it through your ridiculously-high taxes.

  • i was going to post some long ass comment, i had it typed out and everything. it was about how we came to america to get away from shit like this. (we being our founding fathers). BUT i deleted it all because i realize....i have no idea what the fuck im talking about. i just know america is doing great. dont like the economy? well what country in the world has a good economy right now?

  • I'm from Canada and I fucking LOOOOOVE my free health care. I don't get why some Americans don't want this.

  • "Here we go again with the agreeing"?? Um, at least the two parties are agreeing about SOMETHING. I'm tired of the petty fight between the right and the left. Be HAPPY they're agreeing with something.

  • @SkreetGil lol

  • Despite the Republicans furious playacting, they are giddy that the Democrats have adopted long held conservative Republican beliefs about health care. This is what the Wall Street Journal said about the health care summit:

“To listen to President Obama and his closest Democratic allies, you'd think John McCain had won the election and their bill had been drafted by Paul Ryan, Tom Coburn and the scholars at the American Enterprise Institute [a rightwing think tank].” (February 26, 2010).

  • Seriously like McCain would've done anything at all.
