  • oh i meant the amp normally filters out content below a certain threshold e.g 20<hz because the human ear can't hear it, it is more felt than heard, but also the speaker is normally unable to reproduce it. Yeah the slope of the x-over would explain why the mid is moving so much.

  • was just wondering because i saw it making short pulses which is quite unusual for midrange. amps usually dont have problems handling subsonic content even below 10Hz, but thats not the point. there isnt alot of info about the crossover around, but i found its a 2nd order crossover which actually explains why some low frequencies are passing through.
