@FenderFM212 Uh, so was Mikael Stanne, just as much as Anders. Think of it this way. Anders was on DT's first album (Skydancer), Mikael was on IF's first albums (Subterranean and Lunar Strain), and then they kinda switched

Actually, my thoughts exactly (regarding your melodic 3) :)
These are for sure the best 3 melo-death albums ever. Unfortunately, from these 3 great bands, only DT keeps it up... Shame in flames!

The Jester Race is one of the best albums of Melodic Death metal.
They are called "The Melodic Three" (Just joking, made that name up, but it has a nice ring to it doesn't it?)
At the Gate's "Slaughter of the Soul"
In Flames's "The Jester Race"
And last but not least, Dark Tranquillity's "The Gallery"
Those three albums are legendary, and if anyone disagrees, they're not metal.

it's funny how IF and DT are considered the pioneers of melodeath, and Anders Friden was the vocalist of both bands.
