Mr & Mrs. Robert Smith Tribute :)

Smith met Mary Poole in school when he was 14 years old, and they married in 1988. Smith wrote one of the Cure's signature compositions, "Lovesong", as a wedding present to his wife. :)

It's selfishness and unselfishness. Robert from all accounts doesn't want to inflict the ills of our society on an innocent child. That's his answer for why he and Mary don't have children. He also has like 17 nieces and nephews, so he's not without children in his life. Ulimately, I chose to think it's because they're so madly in love with each other that they want to be lost in each other's world.

some of the best couples look alike. Perhaps thats why they endure. Robert & Mary look very alike. I read somewhere that they both like to garden now! Picture that pulling out weeds with that head of hair.

Just like anyother fan, I always like to believe Robert is the best husband in the world.... I don't know... it must be very difficult to stand his constant touring, his addiction to alcohol, and many other 'hidden tricks' we just can't see...

I love Robert, something which talks to my soul, like every fans... but I'm not so sure that Mary is so lucky. It's a great love story between them, the meeting of 2 souls I believe, but like in each couple, not easy everyday, when you are in love with an artist, you have to live with him, with its devils, his art, his passion for music, its problems with alcohol etc, its emotions and its pains, it is not so easy, I think, even if I believe Robert looks pleasant, livable, the art is a lifestyle.
