Super Falcon was not a beta vehicle, it was actually introduced in the F-Zero X Expansion Kit for the 64DD which was sold in Japan only and never got very popular. The Super Falcon was gold with an extra fin on the back, but could be changed back to blue by pressing R or Z on the machine settings menu. It's stats were A class body, boost, and grip, making it the ultimate machine. There were also special verions of the Fire Stingray and White Cat called the Super Stingray and Super Cat.

Super Falcon is not at all Captain Falcon's son. He is a completely unrelated character exclusive to the expansion pack (without cheats, that is).
