Are you sure that is a 425? It's coupled to a torgue tube Dynaflow which was last produced in 1960. 1961 eliminated the torgue tube and went to open shaft and released the 425 in 1964. You may want to check the numbers to make sure.
Anyway, one of the best looking motors ever, good luck w/ the project!

The Nailhead. If only people knew how much power they made FACTORY not to mention with all the aftermarket parts now. If a 425 in a Gran Sport could TWIST the frame from the factory I wonder what it would do now. hehe. Makes me wonder if the same thing will happen in my 59 Buick since the motor is like a supercharged 350!
