I would have liked to hear what Dallaglio had to say. Anyway, I read somewhere that this was their response to the apparent "slighting" of the haka when BOD pick up a leaf. According to Woodward's research, this was a ceremonial "accepting of the challenge" in Maori culture, but it looked as if Umaga and Mealamu didn't quite see it that way...
How they were never cited for this is beyond me.

Thanks mate...its refreshing to see intelligent rugby fans still exist...I stand by my words- this was the darkest moment in All Black history...the aura and respect they were once held in was somewhat extinguished after this disgusting episode.
As for all the one eyed All Black fans yelling "get over it- this aint tiddleywinks" can you just imagine the outcry if Dan Carter was spear tackled off the ball and put out for the season....New Zealanders are shockingly one eyed at times

It was a disgrace .they knew what they were doing taking out the best player in the world and the fact that they can't admit it was intentional after looking at that is just stupidity !
