Reality is observed through concepts.
When u understand that we are all one u experience the emotion of that concept, yet that concept is not the same as the reality it pertains to.
Its a concept. The reality simply is before it is understood as a concept where it becomes something it is not in order to be understood.
Everything simply is.
The everything experiences different concepts, It all is seperate, yet is, and cannot be understood, yet exists as it is.

Thanks for sharing! To say "seeing myself ONLY as the body" is to not honor life. Why the dialectic? We are, in fact, the body. No need for separation from the body. We are of this earth. To honor life we honor the body. Unity does not require recognition. It is. "Awakening" is every moment, every breath, no "work" or "meditation" required.

@shodashi108 I guess I liken it to the sprouting of a flower....there are stages ie: seed, sprout, stem and leaves, budding of flower and eventually, under proper conditions of rain and sunshine, a blossoming flower is manifest.
I would assume that awareness in most individuals is "identified with only the body as self" and the world would be seen as 'separate from self'. However, some individuals mysteriously shift into 'knowingness' where all life is experienced as one's very Self.

The will of the One is always at play within Itself....whatever is happening. Practically... one can but follow the creative intelligent impulses which move life. Seeing myself only as the body....then it is a small, selfish way of relating to the world. When the illusion that "I am this small body" falls away.... the truth of Unity is re-cognized, and the activity reflects this truth of selflessness.However, until this awakening is complete....we each cannot but do our best.
