  • y did that thing start like that

  • @MrDMAX02 i think its because the timing is advanced

  • That's a 2003 or 2004 with a LB7.... Not a 2005

  • @smore911 well i was told it was a 2005 but i will check for sure next time i see the truck

  • @LB704duramax good catch, I see that now. :) I was looking at the gauges, and interior, etc and couldn't find anything. Now that you pointed it out, it's obnoxiously obvious.

  • @1nickadair The grille is different. 03 and 04 had this style grille and 05 they changed to the split chrome through the center and paint to match between headlights and turn signals

  • @smore911 what makes you say its an 03 or an 04? I thought I knew duramax's but I didn't see anything that would make that stand out as an 03 or and 04. Not doubting, I just didn't see anything obvious. lol

  • @offroader94 are the wheels 18's or 20's?

  • Sweet single wide bro

  • this truck is great lookin but it has to lose that windshield visor. im not a duramax fan cause being a diesel mechanic ive workrd on TONS of these things and have seen only 3 make it past 200,000 miles without needing anything but i actually love the way they sound!!!! nice truck my man!!!

  • where'd he get his diff cover?

  • @Britewhiteram

appreciate it man, I just don't wanna spend 30,000 on a truck that breaks down..

I hate dodge, i'd only get a dually if I got a dodge but there interior is all the same and its gay, and ford, well there just not AS nice as the Chevrolet. But the LBZ is what i'm leaning on right now, if anyone has any opinions on to help me out please let me know, thanks.. sorry i just know cars and motorcycles, not trucks lol

  • @Doydull Headlights and tailights really have nothing to do with the engine under hood my friend, infact the tail lights and headlights in all chevrolet 2500's are the same from 2003-2007classic, so your point is quite moot, however the engine noise is quite tell tale of the engine under the hood, do you even own a duramax? I own one, my brother owns an LMM, and my father in law owns an LB7, so I know what I am talking about thank you very much

  • @10ARios the LB7 is the first gen duramax, its pretty reliable, but it can have issues with injectors, of all the LB7's i personally know most have had injector problems, as for the LLY its a good engine, just has breathing problems when towing, and it can overheat if you run it too hard with too much of a load, the LBZ is one of the best duramaxes IMHO, most of the bugs of the prior duramaxes worked out and no DPF etc.
