Superman He's virtuous, excellent, valiant, and the embodiment of excellence. Many super heroes are measured by him. Tie between Spider Man, and Firestorm (Ronnie Raymond). Both are underdogs, down to earth guys, beating impossible odds, and doesn't matter how hard they get hit they won't stay down.

Indinia Jones A down to earth hero. He has a habbit of finding touble, give the world ancient treasures, dogged, and valiant. You can can count on him to win. Zorro Valiant, admirable, and excellent. Served as inspiration for The Shadow, Batman, and super heroes including secret identity. The Shadow A badass, and original master of darkness. Raiden of Metal Gear Solid. Not all heroes are born. Proved in a critical time to be a valiant titan.

Aladdin A down to earth guy, and a clever valiant guy. Lee Brothers of Double Dragon Both of them kick ass as the two of the greatest martial artists. One glorious force of good. TMNT Bad asses that save the world, and each one of them seem's relatable to a person. What a family is all about sticking together. Jean of God Hand A constant complainer but is a smartass, and a bold outstanding fighter.

8. Velma From Scooby Doo
nice one lol
I know this is old, but how couldn't you have had Storm on your list? Not only was she or frankly is she, THE most prominent African-American hero in comics from at least the 70s to the late 90s, but she was also one of the first female heroes to be put in charge of one of the most popular comic teams around. Anybody growing up in the 80 and 90s knew there was only one leader of he X-Men and she kicked ass with or without powers.

@Ebonyleopard folks were able to submit their own lists during this discussion. This was all a matter of opinion, of course. :) Elliott
