'Euro dream fanaticism to end in disaster'

The EU's leadership remains unphased by the festering debt crisis in Greece, maintaining Athens should not, cannot, and will not default. Their message, however, is falling on increasingly deaf ears as leading economists, investors and academics say it's inevitable. Greeks, meanwhile, are mobilizing for new mass rallies as government imposed austerity begins to break the back of the country's economy. Salaries, pensions and jobs are free-falling, while taxes and cuts soar - all in an effort to satisfy EU demands in return for yet more debt - in the form of bailouts. And, according to William Dartmouth, an MEP for the UK Independence Party, the EU's obsession with the Euro can only end in disaster.

@Dalsir1 We have to be strong society if we wont something to change if society is strong parliament have no power, but again i cant believe after fighting for independence we will be in huge black hole of economy, it sucks and thats democracy, everything what people fought is now like hell, now its like a joke in communism we lived, in democracy we try to live. But i dont want communism i want social democracy and it sucks becouse conservatives getting into power over and over again.

@Dalsir1 The worse thing that we did was we destroyed every single soviet fabric and whole farming was destroyed and now we have to start over again building things that we had before and its dumb. Also Slovenia said no to help Greek and i think they done smart thing becouse they going to have another vote for it and another until they will say yes, Lithuania sad yes but our economy is not getting better either. I just dont understand why we should help them if they not going to work?!
