Robots In Restaurant?!

Ever heard of robots in restaurants where they no longer use human waiters, they use robots instead? There are ones in China, believe it or not.

@sun79bear Hey you, I just tested it to add video to this and it worked. Did you click in comment box and you will see a link that says "create a video response" - click on it then pick your video to add. Lemme know if still having a trouble. Hopefully it works! :-D

@SeekGeoFocus yes i did and i did look at create a video response but plm is that video is not on the list so i cant click it and i dont know why my upload respond video is not on the list odd

@sun79bear Ah, that's because you already "response" to someone else's video. YT only allow once time so if you added your video (a specific video) to someone's video as a response, can't add again to somebody else. It sucks, I know.

LOL!!! Good point. In a land of 1 Billion people; should the Chinese Govt. succeed in replacing humans with Robotssss, where will the Chinese people go? 20 miles or longer of unemployment lines? Mass exodus to Mongolia? That would sure help Mongolia with their economy.

Now my question is, who will clean, sterilize,and disinfect the robots? Probably those who could not pay their bills.

By the way, I love a tip-less restaurant.

@BigBenFactor "I love a tip-less restaurant" - Ha ha! Even though I'm a big tipper but I always feel good for not worrying about tips when visiting other countries. Many countries like Nicaragua, etc where I went don't even require tips.

I think that the whole robot thing is more for amusement as far as serving in restaurants and such. It's a fun idea to go to that robot restaurant, but unless everyone goes crazy and start demanding that robots serve them everywhere they go, it'll probably remain as a unique thing.

Now...if robots do end up taking over the world, lots of engineers and mechanics will have tons of jobs. Hmm...

Yikes! That robot at the end is scary! I've heard some restaurants around here is now offering menus on iPads. Wonder if iPads are used for ordering too?? That will be easy for all deafs. I wouldn't want a robot!
