I got my best Safari clothes out and prepared to take on the wilderness of the mangrove swamp area of Langkawi!

The tour costs RM 160 (US$47)per person from the Westin hotel concierge. Am not sure how much it costs if you were to pay for it separately if you get yourself to the tour operator. My hunch is, it'll be marginally cheaper. I was really wow-ed by the limestone hills, the eerie calm waters that would be perfect habitats for alligators, the great thrill of being on a quite powerful but not very safe boat.

You get a tour of the crocodile tunnel, bat cave, eagle feeding, fish farm and well a lunch... consisting of a rather decent fried rice with not one, not two... but three big prawns.

The entire tour took about 4+ hours. And you will spend most of your time on the boat.
