Thanks a ton. I heard from a Dell tech to run it as XP pack 2, but that didn't work.
I was already running as administrator and Pack 3 before, but not with the 256 colors ,I think that's what did it.

yea you should try it out doing the same way but it might be a little buggy or just a usb wireless adapter they sell them for $10 at geeks.com and they are wireless-n by netgear

Thank you so much for this information. I installed windows 7 on an old Dell that I have and I went crazy trying to update the driver. Once I found this video I was able to fix the problem in a couple of minutes. thanks for the info. Please advise as soon as possible how to force aero to operate. Great Job.
