Those politicians and statesmen who forgo the political leverage for doing what is RIGHT are all too seldom honored after their death. Cornyn will get neither. Remember that he took PHIL GRAMMs seat in the Senate. Phil Gramm, the author of the ENRON LOOPHOLE that allowed large corporations to steal hundreds of billions from the US citizen and taxpayer and put us into this recession. His wife, WENDY, sat on the Board of DIrectors of...ENRON CORP.

Sadly we have to expect ONLY the political from our representative and Cornyn IS my senator. Somewhere we should be able to expect representation of their state or integrity or at least the acknowledgement that she is a GOOD JUDGE. Instead we get devious manuvering and gotcha poilitics. I am SOOOO ashamed of John Cornyn and his representation of me in the Senate. Nearly ALL of his statements and actions and votes are POLITICALLY MOTIVATED. During these hearings, he has been trying to get some sort of "gotcha" moment and has absolutely no interest in either the truth or advocating a good Supreme Court. It is ALL about packing the SCOTUS to prevent a future GOP impeachment and future threats to the fascist Patriot Act.

you know she has a record and judging from that record she is a very moderate judge if she were such an activist why are the republicans going to the same well so many times and there is no real substance in their argument. in 87 out 96 cases she sided with the majority conservative decision in the remaining nine cases only once was she the decenting opinion so there are the facts argue with that.

Well here's some good advise: If you enjoy personal property, guns, the right to life, America being a Sovereign Nation and not using foreign in the judiciary, call your Senator and demand they vote not to confirm Sotomayor. If you don't know your United States Senators name just tell the operator what state you are from and she will ask Senator Smith or Jones ask her to connect you to one , write down the others name and call back.
