I understand your frustration at not being able to share your youth with your kids. I was at Brighton last month, believing I was going to be at Glenelg. Did walk past Glenelg and saw what you saw last year (the rocks etc) and got slightly confused. I think I understand the reason better now. Have attached my clip on Brighton. That was the closest I have been to paradise. Perfect. Just hope Brighton doesn't end up the same way as Glenelg in future.

Oh dear. It is just a very high tide, commonly called a king tide.
Perhaps your kids should have been drowned at birth so that they would have been spared from your ridiculous comments. Was the sky falling down at the same time?
If you had of filmed the same spot 8 hours later the tide would have gone out.
Oh and by the way.the beach is still here.

@Dex4dawin well aren't you the nasty little rodent, this beach looked nothing like I had remembered it to look like some 27 years earlier. now please don't bother commenting on any of my videos again unless you too can say something a bit better than what you did I hope you never have children to spare you someone saying that to you.

@AuzzGirl no need for name calling, I lived in Glenelg 28 years ago, and it looked NOTHING like this then.

Why is the beach not there anymore? Increased water level caused by global warming?

Nah you could call it Corporate Greed or something like that, now I have been told that there still is a bit of sand there, and because it was high tide that is why we didn't see it. What has happened is they Redeveloped the Foreshore area, and built Villa apartments or something like that, hopefully someone in the know will respond to this
