Nikola Tesla was my lab assistant right after he left university. He was a good worker, so I cheated Igor out of immortality by renaming the Igor Coil as the Tesla Coil. Judging from the state of the world since the late 1800's I must say Nikola 'learned' a great deal from my innovations. You know the story of him tearing up his Westinghouse contract? He had actually signed it over to me in deep gratitude after a courier I sent 'reminded' Nikola just how much he had been 'inspired' by my work.
