Thanks for posting this video. I would like to point out, to everyone that made comments about this particular volunteer agency, that 71% of all firefighters in the US are volunteer (according to the NFPA statistics from 2009). This means that you have a high likelihood of living in a district where volunteers are used (even if they supplement career personnel).

This area is covered by an all volunteer fire dept. All of the guys that you see had to go from their home to the station and then respond to the scene. We save a lot more then we lose.

@fireford13 exactly tell that to the guys around my FD they dont get it. we had a fully envolved garage fire with flames shooting out of the roof and they attacked it with 2 1" 3/4 lines from 2 different sides idk how we saved the structure from colapsing.
