Thanks!! I'm grateful to all the kind souls in rcgroups for offering valuable suggestions and help to me.
The 'dual motors' plan is working flawlessly; loading stress on the torque-tube and the little crown gears appeared to have been reduced significantly by the dual motors. No signs of wear-and-tear even after flying the bird with 'Idle-up' throttle curve.
