What kind of "Theological" College teaches that one;s faith is of "human construction?!!?" Besides that, I suspect that Gretta Vosper's "Progressive Christianity" is merely another name for ;Community Organizing'. Also, she is an "ordained" minister, whose life quest is to figure out how SHE can be bigger than God??!!.
Its scary. But God can change the hardestt hearts...He changed mine..and I give Him all the Glory! Thank God I am "puny" and He is the LORD and there is no other!.

I have met several Ministers in the United Church who have read Gretta's work and would be happy to acknowledge that her thinking informs their preaching within the United Church. I have also done some lay preaching in the United Church, and I count Gretta's book among my favorite reads. The United Church is a big tent, and people should be careful about generalizing their experiences of the United Church to everyone. The experience varies greatly from congregation to congregation.

Gretta's never really gotten over the feeling that she's thirteen years old and a sophisticate, and knows so much more than all the adults know, and as such never has to re-examine that assumption. Now she's fifty, but she's still thirteen. Pathetic.

That Justin Trottier is a scary kid. Something's missing there. Looks like a young Josef Goebbels. The flame on the CFI logo looks like a red sperm. I caught Gretta Vosper on Studio 2 with Steve Paikin, and she was truly slapped around by everyone on the panel who couldn't see the point of calling her warmed over humanist philosophy 'Progressive Christianity'. A true smack down of the know-nothing yadda factory that is the Vosper. Awesome!

The United Church believes everything she is speaking against. I have no idea why she is in the United Church? Freedom of speech is fine but this makes no sense to me at all.
