Diana has many hits to get through and she is a goddess, she has no need to bring the entire audience onto the stage , she is the star and she knows it.

@stage7 Who cares , at least Diana had the good grace to stop wearing them on stage as she got older.

She is doing a tour here with the Chi-lites and there doesn't seem to be much interest , the tickets have been on sale and not one of the very small theatres has yet sold out despite the tickets having been on sale for weeks.

Most people buying are doing so to see the Chi's, as they have had hits in the uk and are still a favourite on classic radio.

Mary on her own would have no hope.

Mary ROCKED the 'white house' for the President! It was soo good it was tryin' to last all night! He didn't want her to "STOP!" Mary Wilson Reigned Supreme and still DOES! NO 'flash', no Grandeur and self-peacocking around, change after change.... Just sheer SUPREMACY with the highest standard... ALONE!

She has gone the extra mile to GIVE people a piece of The Supreme experience that they've been deprived of, and so hunger for, and Mary "is" America's Supreme in spite of the hoopla of another's grandeur efforts! Mary is ALOT of fun and no foolishness, or self-exploit! She's Just 'Supreme' and the 'world' WANTS her and LOVES her! And with good reason.

It seems You are jealous that Mary and Diana are both of the same 'school', and can't help but be similar! Mary has her 'own' brand and doesn't copy Diane. Why does Diana follow Mary around and try to BE what Mary has spearheaded, like the lecturing, and the 'intimate' shows, and being "an ambassador" which Diane self proclaimed? MARY was appointed by the US!

I saw Diana Ross in Memphis June 5, 2010,She didn't talk to the audience,she didn't talk about the music,she sung and changed outfits about 5 times and at the end she disappeared into the stage and the show was over ,I've seen Mary Wilson twice in concert she talks to the audience and brings people up to sing with her,It's like being at a party she's great,and she signs autographs afterwards.
