Tweetsie Railfan Weekend 2010 Part I

On September 12, 2010, Smoky Mountain Rail Videos made the long trek over winding mountain roads to the other side of the Smokies to visit the Tweetsie Railroad during their 6th Annual Railfan Weekend. It was a great day, contrary to the forecasts the sun was out and the breeze was cool. In this part, you'll see the morning Doubleheader runs and #190 pulling the Wild West Train.

@SmokyMtnSteam I'm in NV and I want to go there. What's the story, some other video has a comment that Tweetsie is falling on hard times. Any truth to that?

I've been twice. Before I moved last month, I lived about 40 minutes away from it, down the mountain. Last I went was about 8 or 9 years ago though, since they raised their prices and such. But I'd like to go back again sometime with my bf and his train crazy lil one. He's the reason I've been watching these vids.
