Robeson was made of sturdier stuff than you may think. it was Churchill that wanted to plunge the world into another suicide after the electorate rejeced him for a communist government. remember that. Commonly known as the Labour Party. Yes, in was communist from the get go and 50% of the british people voted for it and rejected Churchill so he blamed it on USSR and launched the cold war.
