@WolvesWest hmmmm that's kinda lazy, they're all acting like they haven't heard it before, whether this is the first or second time karl told this story, they still react exactly the same on both ocassions, so something's very off. Acting
Steve says 'this is the moment' so on this occasion he's not pretending it's new to him. As for Ricky - he's just sitting back and laughing and why shouldn't he? Ive listened to this story many many times already. Not to mention letting others hear it.
Do all northern families refer to the elder brother as "Our Kid"? Bc I know here Karl is talking about his big brother and Mike McCartney who is Paul McCartneys younger brother refers to Paul as such as well. The McCartneys r from Liverpool and the pilkingtons from Manchester but I assume there'd be cultural similarities
@JakeSCANDALS: Yeah I notice that on a few bits...Karl's stories from the XFM sessions seem to be repeated in the podcasts and Ricky and Steve act as if it's new...but then maybe they have genuinely forgotten, Karl does come out with a lot of shit after all lol

@Shonaripa That just happen with good mates. You can tell the same old story a hundred different ways. Its still funny.

what makes me think much of karl is scripted is how he's already told this story twice and ricky and steve act as if it's the first time

I've heard this story told 2 more times by Karl and Ricky and Steve still act as if they don't know what he is on about.........

Does this mean Karl's mother had to bribe this other kid with a pie to play with Karl? That's awful.
