I'm having trouble believing this is truly this airplane's "first flight". Boeing paints these airplanes in Portland, OR and clearly this one has been painted. They fly them down there in a "green" state, then they come back in their livery garb.
Whatever, this plane is very, very light as evidenced by its short take off roll and quick unstick on rotation. I am in love with this paint job.....so original and creative.
Of note: when he took off (other video) he rotated really quick in a kind of "minimum unstick" kind of maneuver. Then after take off, he throttled back and cycled the gear a second time really quick. If it isn't going to come down (remember this is a FIRST FLIGHT) you better find out right away so you can implement a "work around" before you run out of gas...haha!
@KiwiRobbie73 the ram air turbine (RAT) is used in an emergency situation where the aircraft loses electrical power (i.e. if both engines fail). It drops into the airstream and spins, to provide power to basic critical systems.

@NZMarklinist We get the 777-300ER's in Melbourne sometimes. It will go where the other 772's and 773's go.
