LIGHTWAVE 3D-MECH DESTRUCTION!

This is an animation I did for my reel. It is a mix of Lightwave 3d animation and still images composited in After Effects.I created the mech from scratch, the helicopter was bought. The explosion is a mix of 2d and 3d.

That was very impressive. Wonderful life like look to it all, the helicopter and the cars added a lot to it. Well done, mech, explosion and building damage. Well done over all!

im glad you put the helicopters into the shot other wise it would look 'dead'

meaning the image as no life therefore its not believeble and that usually happens

when you use 'still images' for the backgrounds.

i would suggest 'camera mapping' each shot so that it adds perspective

so its more believalbe.

but great work :D
