swimming probably has some of the hardest training out of any sport and sometimes with no reward of cutting off time on your stroke but everytime you do it feels great and winning 1st with your relay is the best feeling in the world....

@nounever Olympic swimmers have swam their whole life and yet they're all like past 6foot. Swim when you're young because it's harder to get into it when you're older :D

When i swim and go through all the pain and misery , especially at 4am , i think to myself , why bother ! but the truth is , id rater die than quit , and when i got to best in the country , i knew that my hard work had got me here and it was the best feeling ever!

iswim,during practices i want to cry, throw up, and just say "I'M DONE" but swimming is life, and i'm not a quitter! I keep swimming to make my dreams become reality. So next time u c ur coaches thank them for making u want to quit!

I do not compete, but I swam a lot quite seriously from 13 to 17 then have laid off of it for the past 4 months because I have started my growth spurt (I know late right?) and If I just did it twice a week would that stunt my growth? I see a lot of swimmers who never skip practice are all like 5 foot 5.
