Transformers Collection For Sale: $100,000 OBO Makes The Local Phoenix News

I had recently decided to put up my collection of Transformers toys from the 80's and word got out to the local news, so I had a little 2-3 minute blurb about it.

There are over 880 figures, with more than 240 sealed. Definitely a monument to my own nerdiness. It just feels like it's time to let 'em go, if I can get the right price; something between $60-100k.

@ItsJustTyree I'm definitely sticking to my guns as far as not parting out the collection, but willing to entertain reasonable offers for the lot. 40K earned a polite, but lightning-fast "No, thank you."

@ENIGMATOYZ Thank you for the compliment! As a matter of fact, no, I haven't sold them. Once the economy started to tank, it seemed like I'd chosen the wrong time to try to sell. That being said, it's not costing me anything to keep them, so I'm just biding my time until an offer comes along.

why did she say single, i hate the media for stereotyping, me and my gf both love transformers why do the media judge people who have interestes in comics, transformers, toys, dolls, trains, model ,making, as being sad, when they are happy, but if you have no interests drink alchohol and cause trouble your termed normal, damn media, awsome collection i got some but not all the g1s i wish i did, i wouldn never sell them if i had them.

Do you also have the combiner gift sets as well? I would think rare ones like that, like bumblejumper, red bumblebee, pepsi optimus, and the super collectible Fortress Max, would be serious heavy hitters, oh yeah, the mail-aways as well, reflctor, and the 3 cars, Camshaft, Downshift, and the other one escapes me, lol,

i would never let go of those g1's and g2's! the rest i would sell to for a descent price. just amazing techlifter, respect!
