this is my first attempt at implementing Johnny Lee's Wii Whiteboard into my setup using the projector and screen we use in our living room. Definitely some fine tuning needed, but so much fun.

  • you need to shrink that keyboard a bit

  • yeah... just a lil bit. it's a bit excessive.

  • as an artist i would like to see this on my projector. I need a bulb but why not, i got one? the only thing that could improve this setup would be rear projection...you could have the remote back there so long as you had a IR-led array bright enough to shine through the screen unfortunately we all cant live in a wharehouse. my area allowed for a little bit smaller image. i guess i will have to just be happy with the 30" dell im looking at right now. :D

wish you had the original audio for this.

  • true about the not all being able to live in a wharehouse, but rer projection wouldn't be all that difficult depending on the keystone correction capabilities of ur projector (aka short throw capabilities). I concur i really like the idea of painting on a large scale canvas like this. I know i just have to tweek a few more things on it, but dang it's fun.

  • wat whitebox2006 said, place the remote closer so it can sense the infrared lights better.

  • You should try play counter strike but have someone sitting on the couch with the keyboard lol

  • Think its a little to big for you

    lol

    :)

  • place your wiicontroller at a closer distance.. not where the projector is.

  • Excuse me i learning english 1mont ago.

Well, how do you resolved the problem of IR at more 3 Meters?

I put the wiicontrol toghether at projector, the wii detect perfectly when shot the IR light directly, but when "shot" the IRlight on the wall to work the Wiicontrol no detect the IR light, maybe no send with th nessesary intensity, how i fix this?

alls batteries at news, how is better put the wiicontrol?

i trying with AA and AAA at 1.5v, i need more bateries for 3v, 9v o with resistences?

  • should of done it with linux..

  • Sweet, but why not project smaller so you don't get the issue of having to lean down.

  • dude, im going to assume this is a huge misunderstanding. Allow me to translate/refine cody15615's comment. He probably meant to write... 'I am calling bullshit on the comment about this not working. I am using it now. Thereby proving that it does work.'

lol, sometimes complicated is easier to understand.
