Is it possible to get a review of the Dell Latitude XT 3 from your side? I would like to know how precise the pen tip is in tablet mode (above all at the edges) as well as heat development und fan noise in tablet mode while in moderate use. Would appreciate it very much! Would even pay for the review.

Dell must have invested silly money into Intrig to continue to use them again and again even after they have continued to have huge problems for years! I'm mean seriously why have they not used Wacom the industry standard?!

System sent back today for second trip to Dell, FedEx overnight!

Follow-up continued part 3 of 3:
4) The loss of confidence the we have for the technical competence of Dell to solve warrantied hardware in a timely manner; 5) The magnitude of time involved and lost during this endeavor.
The XT3 is still with Dell and their engineers have not figured out the problem. We needed to move forward and requested full refund of the original order as of the week of Dec. 19, 2011.

I have a new XT3 doing the exact same thing. If I go into Tablet PC settings and turn off "Use your finger as an input device" it quits misbehaving. I have a colleague with a new XT3 that isn't doing this. Any updates from Dell?

The Latitude XT3 still resides with Dell. More touch screen engineers have been working on it and have not identified the problem as of yet. XT3 manufacturing may start again in near future or next gen/update could be likely.

The XT3 still resides with Dell. It has moved from the hands of two different Technical Analysts | Sales\Executive Escalations personnel and now seems to be in the hands of touchscreen specialists (engineers). While at Dell since Nov.4 they again tested software, replaced LCD, LCD Bezel, LCD back cover, and LCD cables. Problem still remains.
