Obama's Approval Rating Hits New Low
Dec. 16 - President Barack Obama's approval rating dropped to a new low of 50%, as Americans continue to be unhappy with the poor economy and are skeptical about his plan for health care reform, a new ABC News/Washington Post poll found.
Obama's overall approval rating dropped 6% in just the past month.
When it comes to the president's key initiative, health care, a majority of 53% disapprove. 52% disapprove of his handling of the economy.
