Thank you! Would you recommend turning the canvas sideways for the second layer? seems to me it would be easier to train oneself to spray in one dirrection only vs. spraying verticle too.
Awesome video, very well explained. I have a question though; Do you varnish the sides of the canvas or is it unnecessary? I have a acrylic painting of a Green Turtle given to me by a friend who painted it for me and i would like to varnish it cause it's absolutely gorgeous.
Thats very well explained. Thank you. I am about to varnish my 36X24 canvas. Considering the size, would you advice me to go all the way making complete horizontal streaks or should I stop in the middle and restart?
from my previously comment You can better understand wath i mean concerning the warnish refraction seeing my video of the latest big canvas 100X150 "storm" where at the end of the works, after I applied the warnish , the external light is reflecting in the center of the painting. From picture point of view its could be nice but from real view it can disturb the watcher :-)... sorry for long comment.
Thank you very much for this video..From my experience I keep the best result apply the varnish positioning the canvas in Horizontal.
Other HINT I'd like to mention is you have keep big attention applying the warnish on big size of canvas , I've experience that due to the light refraction on warnish, some colours of the painting was visible only in a particoulare visual angle observer and completely not visibile observing it in front of the canvas.
