Good point, I had to buy 3d Max (and AutoCAD) since I went to Architecture School. I hope you stay on Superman as long as possible. We fanboys need our comics. It was meant as a complement.

A stunning rendering of the buildings, Pete!
The architecture is Metal & Mineral, rather than crystal, looking as though it were inspired by the old arcade games. (Tilt! Tilt!)
But is that meant to be only part of the city, or the whole thing?
And what scale is it on - how tiny would the people be?
Is traffic (people & vehicles) meant to move around within the buildings or fly between them, making use of the flyover highways?

The city itself has only 100,000 citizens which is why we don't see a lot of sprawl at the edges,
Originally the people could only walk but they did have flying vehicles. Once released from their bottle they did fly.
As far as scale goes- the best way I can relate scale to you is that the walkways you see are about the width of a 2-4 lane highway.

That's awesome, I thought I was good at sketch up, Now I just want you to export this to 3DMax and render the living daylight out of it. If this comic thing doesn't work out a job in Architecture you must find!
